After a complete technical study for the odour control unit in Manfuha region, Tholander has proposed a solution for the National Water Company to solve their problem. It consists of a chemical scrubber system unit, which can reduce the H2S for more than 500ppm to less than 5 ppm. This system was designed to be integrated with the existing carbon odour control system to get a final concentration of H2S that is less than 2ppm. In a short period the material was delivered to the main contactor in Feb 2016, and the installation was completed within less than a month. By the end of April 2016, the system is continuously operating since that date with a perfect result.
